Giving Tuesday 2023

IEEE SIGHT

Hello! Thank you for visiting the IEEE SIGHT page and your interest in the IEEE Foundation's Giving Tuesday Campaign. We invite you to consider making a contribution of any amount to IEEE SIGHT to ensure that committed, passionate IEEE volunteers have the necessary resources to undertake grassroots projects with a positive, long-lasting impact on communities all around the world.

IEEE SIGHT is a global network of IEEE volunteers partnering with underserved communities and local organization to leverage technology for sustainable development. SIGHT is a program of the IEEE Humanitarian Technologies Board.

There are over 44,000 individual SIGHT members in 131 countries around the world, and over half of them are students. These members may then come together in Groups of six or more to learn about sustainable development, build relationships within their local communities, and implement projects that utilize technology to tackle key problems the community is facing. Since SIGHT's inception in 2011, 224 SIGHT Groups have been established in more than 50 countries.

Today, join us in celebrating Giving Tuesday by making your donation to IEEE SIGHT through the IEEE Foundation. Or, become a community fundraiser to maximize your impact. This opportunity allows you to create your own page where you can include your experience as a SIGHT volunteer or Group member and share the story with your network. Templates and guidance is available for those who are interested, and a small gift will be sent to community fundraisers who reach 5 donors of at least US$10 or more through their page. Please select the "join team" button here, or write to sight@ieee.org to connect.

Together we can support SIGHT to have an even greater impact as a catalyst for change within IEEE and in underserved communities around the globe. We look forward to hearing from you!
