The Center serves the electrical, electrochemical, electrophysical, and computing professions by preserving, promoting, and publicizing their history.

* Engineering & Technology History Wiki (ETHW)—The ETHW ethw.org contains thousands of topic articles, first-hand accounts, oral histories, Milestones and Landmarks, and archival documents.
* IEEE Global Museum—The Global Museum program promotes an understanding of electrotechnology and its impact upon society by bringing museum-quality traveling exhibits directly to IEEE members and the public.
* Milestones Program—The IEEE Milestones Program honors significant achievements ieeemilestones.ethw.org/guidelines
* Oral History Collection—One of the foremost collections in the history of technology, it preserves more than 900 interviews with significant innovators. http://ethw.org/oh
